Sea Roads brings together a selection of unpublished photographs taken by Adolf Mas and Pelai Mas in the Balearic Islands, between 1913 and 1923. They portrayed not only the most representative aspects of the civil and religious architecture of the islands, but also cities, landscapes and archaeology, as well as scenes from everyday life and folklore and examples of the rich decorative art to be found in palaces and private houses.

These images, of undeniable aesthetic but also documentary value, have come to enrich the already substantial iconographic heritage of the islands, which other historians and collectors of photography have recovered and conserved with Duch care and perseverance, bringing new elements for the preservation of our historical memory.
