Dios Salve a la Reina was formed back in 1998 in Rosario, Argentina.
 The bands aim is to give an accurate reproduction of a Queen Live concert, reaching the original sounds and styles.

The members: Pablo Padín (Vocals & Piano), Francisco Calgaro (Guitar, B. Vocals & Keyboards), Matías Albornoz (Drums & B. Vocals) and Ezequiel Tibaldo (Bass).  Each of them represents a Queen member on stage and play songs that not even Queen played live fully, like the hit Bohemian Rhapsody.

A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the “quidam” that Cirque du Soleil is celebrating.

A young girl fumes; she has already seen everything there is to see, and her world has lost all meaning. Her anger shatters her little world, and she finds herself in the universe of Quidam. This exhibition is composed by sixty four photographs that shows the evolution of the mountain of Montjuic. The photographers responsible for the project were Rosin, Sagarra, Brangulí, Godes and de Rozas, taking more than seven thousand photographs capturing the transformation of the mountain between 1915 and 1923.

Virgin of Merce, the patron of Barcelona. According to the legend, on the night of the 24th of September in 1218, the Virgin of Merce appeared simultaneously to King Jaume I, Saint Pere Nolasc and Saint Ramon de Penyafort. She asked them to set up an order of monks dedicated to save the Christians held prisoners by the Sarracens. It was a time of religious wars.

Centuries later, in 1687, Barcelona suffered a plague of locusts, and the people prayed to the Virgen of Merce. When the plague was over, the City Council named her the patron of Barcelona. After Pope Pius IX declared the Virgen of Merce the patron of the city, Barcelona started to celebrate the festival in September.

Actually “La Merce” is a Festival which concentrates in a few days hundreds of activities such as music, street art, human towers, capgrossos (dwarves with big heads), giants and an entire menagerie of festive animals, acrobatic gathering including jets, balloons and gliders, pyrotechnical music show and more than 500 activities which gives something to appeal to everyone.

Alen Garagic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1978. He studied in the Conservatory of Rotterdam (Holland) with the professor Dick Hogeveen, in the Real Conservatory of la Haya (Holland) with Zoran Dukic, in the Conservatory of Sabadell with Fernando Rodriguez, in the ESMUC of Barcelona with Alex Garrobé and with Franz Halasz in the Superior Music School in Augsburg (Germany).
