This unforgettable trip runs through the Lleida lands to the Pyrenees lakes; leaving from El Segrià, through La Noguera and Montsec and reaching El Pallars Jussà region.
A charming journey,a magnificent landscape…
Getting on to the train, sitting and enjoying the journey of the Prepyrenees plain. The coach window show us a nice view of the landscape of great beauty. A land of rugged scenery and wild vegetation, lime walls, controlled calm waters and at the bottom the white peaks of the Pyrenees. Four great sheets of water which we find along the journey: Sant Llorenç de Montgai, Camarassa, Cellers and Sant Antoni.
Sant Llorenç
Nature wildlife reserve area for iis wide variety of water fauna.Electric power and irrigated land. Place suitable for birdwatching.
Camarasa
Lake of 20km length which is joined to the confluence of the Noguera Pallaressa and Segre waters.
Cellers
It has the latest and largest foothill of The Pyrenees. It stretches out from the Plains to the deep valley of Tremp to the inner part of El Congost de Terradets(gorge). Its calm waters, hardly ever at the same level, have created an authentic riverside wood with a natural lake appearance.
Sant Antoni
It is the largest surface of fresh water in Catalonia. It has a depth of 86m and 972 hectares of surface. It is an ideal place to practise water sports or enjoy the calm of its beaches and creeks, only reachable by boat,which leads us to amazing spots.
